from the first quarter 2004 Triton Sixty Report indicate that vacancy
in the sixty bellwether Class A buildings in the San Francisco Financial
District is 14.22% with average rental rates at $31.46. There are
almost 5,000,000 square feet of Class A office available when the
1,000,000 square feet of sublease space is included.
Overall
vacancy in the Financial District for all building classes is 16.8%
with average asking rates at $24.20. Positive absorption has caused
an increase in asking rental rates of almost $1.00 per square foot
from the fourth quarter of 2003"
